GULF WAR SYNDROME
Coming to a Town Near You?
When Joyce Riley speaks, people listen and they usually stand
at attention. That's Captain Joyce Riley of the U.S. Air Force
Reserve. Joyce is also a Registered Nurse and served in Operation
Desert Storm. After becoming severely ill upon her return and
noticing the amazing coincidence of thousands of other returning
veterans having the same debilitating symptoms, she decided to
investigate. The information she uncovered is astonishing enough
to fill a Tom Clancy novel: revealing government documents, daily
logs from Desert Storm, e-mail messages from Pentagon officials,
sworn statements from the men who served in Desert Storm and knew
exactly what was going on and of course the media statements by
the Pentagon which contradict all of the above. Add to this
thousands of cases of veterans family members contracting the
same symptoms, babies being born with horrendous birth defects
and the death toll growing daily.
The Pentagon has denied or at best played down the
significance of any chemical or biological agents affecting our
troops in Desert Storm, but Joyce Riley has presented a powerful
and undeniable case to the contrary. She currently lectures and
appears on talk shows across the country and has appeared before
a Congressional hearing.
In her new video she presents the facts and documentation to
support her compelling case on the selling and use of germ and
chemical agents, toxic vaccinations, the Pentagon's full
knowledge of what really happened and how it may be affecting all
of us.
This is not a hi-tech production. Joyce and her husband Dave
Riddell are using their personal resources to get this
information out to the American people who need to know the
truth. Nevertheless I consider Joyce Riley's message to be
required viewing for all truth seekers out there. Joyce and Dave
are giving the video and over 100 pages of information free of
charge to Gulf War veterans. For the rest of us $20 buys the
video and for an additional $10 you can get the information
package that could save your life or the life of a loved one.
Consider it an investment in health insurance.

THE POET, ROMANCES FOR CELLO
Michael Hoppe (Teldec)
Music from another time, a gentler time, a simpler time.
Michael Hoppe has the gift of writing classic melodies that touch
the soul with an elegance seldom heard in today's music. This
latest recording features Swiss cellist Martin Tillman performing
11 romantic themes composed by Michael. Each theme is dedicated
to a renowned poet, a musical tribute to Kahlil Gibran, Robert
Frost, Carl Sandburg, Sara Teasdale and many others whose poetry
has inspired, consoled and given us insight into our souls. The
booklet contains excerpts of their poetry and the incredible
portrait photography of Michael's grandfather, E. O. Hoppe'. A
musical poet in his own right, Michael Hoppe has done no less
than the poets he pays tribute to.

rhythms and performers on the Narada label. It's kind of a
Celtic, rhumba, flamenco, world beat, Asian, Native American,
African kind of thing. Well, trust me, you'll like it.

GRAVITY
Jesse Cook (Narada)
While we're on the subject of world music. I've already
confessed to being a closet Gypsy. Not being enamoured of the bar
scene, on Friday nights I much prefer a healthy dose of take-out
tacos, appropriate lighting, any Jesse Cook CD and of course the
rose for my teeth. It's as good a workout as going to the gym,
cheaper than the bar and more fun than both of them. So, that
being said, I hear a lot of Flamenco recordings these days and to
be honest Jesse Cook is still #1. A real treat for the ears and
the feet. Pick up a CD of Gravity and dance the night away.
Available at most retail outlets.
